WSWCD staff offer an elementary level conservation curriculum to students in Mat-Su area schools. Our staff will come into your classroom and work directly with your students. This curriculum emphasizes water and land use issues relevant to Mat-Su Valley residents. The lessons work well with students from grades 3 through 6, with 4th grade students being the targeted age group. Also, if your students complete this curriculum training there is an opportunity for you to schedule a field trip with our staff to four different stops along the Little Susitna River for “hands on” learning about this amazing watershed.

If interested in our program, take a look at the following lessons.  We would be happy to work with you and your students.  Feel free to contact us at (907) 357-4563 ext 7.
