Wasilla SWCD offers a variety of education related programs, activities and materials:
- We offer elementary and middle level natural resource lessons to educational staff for use with young people in schools, scouts, or other interested groups. We can either bring the outdoors into the classroom or arrange a trip for kids to get into the field to experience nature first-hand.
- What better way to educate kids about stream ecology than to involve them in a restoration project.
- Motivate kids to share their thoughts and ideas about conservation in an art form by involving them in the poster contest held each year.
